Happy Birthday to Me...Not!

Well, today was supposed to be my birthday but I have decided that I'm still not ready yet. Mummy and Daddy tried to encourage me out this morning by celebrating and singing happy birthday to me but I think I will stay where I am for the time being until I find a date that I like. Don't worry though, one way or another I will definitely be here by 13th July.

Do you like my party hat that I'm wearing? I'll have to wait until I'm out to play with my balloon.

I'm getting really big now, I think Mummy might be getting sick of carrying me around all the time now. Daddy is trying to make lots of noise to help me find my way out.

Pregnant pictures

Here's a couple of shots of me with my Mummy as I grow. We haven't had too many taken with our camera so we will post them as we get them from other people.

Here are some photos of me at 40 weeks in the making. Here I am with my Aunty Magda and Uncle Dom, then with my Uncle Aaron, Aunty Bec and Daddy and lastly with my Mummy and Daddy. I can't wait until I can meet everyone face to face rather than just hear them all.
Here I am 37 weeks in the making. This is me after my Daddy's birthday dinner on 7th June 2008 with Mummy, Aunty Karen and Uncle Eric. They were hoping that this would be the last time that they would see Mummy without being able to see me but we saw them last weekend and I am still 'on the inside'.

Here I am with Nanna Rastall. I love playing tricks on her already because when she is around I move about and kick loads but when she tries to feel me I always stop. Mummy thinks that if Nanna has that calming effect on me I'll be spending lots of time with Nanna when I come out!

This was also taken after Daddy's birthday to show that Mummy still has her belly button - she's so pleased about this because she wouldn't be able to cope if she got an 'outtie'.

Here I am 35 weeks in the making. Mummy took this one in the mirror before Daddy went to Germany for work on 22nd May 2008 to leave on the camera that he took with him to remind him what was waiting at home for him. We missed him a lot and were both very happy to have him home!

Here I am with Mummy's cousin's children James and Emily when they visited for my Aunty Karen and Uncle Eric's wedding. This picture was taken on 15th February 2008 when I was 21 weeks in the making. Mummy and Daddy loved meeting Emily and James and can't wait until they get to see them again one day, they had so much fun with them when they were here!

A party just for me!

On 3rd May 2008 my Nanna Rastall and Aunty Karen threw me a party at Nanna Rastall's house with my mum's closest family and friends to celebrate my impending arrival. It was lots of fun with everyone making a 'memory page' that has been made into a book for me to look at when I get older so I can see how excited everyone was to meet me. Mummy was very humbled by how generous everyone was to me and I think she was even a bit teary by the end of the day - she finished work the day before and was feeling a little bit overwhelmed by everything! I got some lovely gifts, but most of all I enjoyed spending time with everyone.

From left to right we have; Aunty Brooke; Aunty Kara; Aunty Kim; Aunty Karen; Aunty Kerry-Anne (with my playmate in her tummy); Aunty Yinan and Keira; Aunty Michelle & Aunty Melissa working hard; my friend Indiana with a wombat; Nanna Jensen holding my cousin Liam with Aunty Bec and Aunty Jenny & Aunty Wendy with their wombats;
my Great-Grandma and Aunty Tara; Aunty Magda, Aunty Tanya (also with my playmate in her tummy) and Aunty Ingrid; up the back were also Great Aunty Elvie and Aunty Natalie; Nanna Rastall; Grandad Rastall; a very special gift from Nanna Rastall - a handmade quilt just for me that she made (with the help of Aunty Wendy and Aunty Jenny, thank you!).

As you can see, it's a good job that I wasn't physically here as I wouldn't have been able to fit into my room after my party it's so full!

A room with a view...

On 1st March 2008, Mummy and Daddy decided that it was time to decorate my room since they had already bought my nursery furniture back in December! After lots of visits to the paint shop to look at colours, they finally settled on a lovely purple/blue colour. If it looks as good as it smelled, I'm sure I'll love it!

The boring before photo...

Mummy being so careful to not go out of the lines...

Daddy being scared of Mummy finding out that he went out of the lines...

And hey presto, I have a beautiful room all to myself!

Let's start at the very beginning.....

After a boring AFL Grand Final without Collingwood, I was created on 29th September 2007. Mum and Dad were thrilled to find out about me on 22nd October.

Here I am in my first photo taken on 19th November 2007 when I was 8 weeks in the making. Do you think I have my Dad's eyes?

This is my 12 week scan taken on 21st December 2007. This was a very exciting time for my Mum and Dad as they could now tell everybody about me...

It was around this time that my Aunty Karen and Uncle Eric decided to name me "Tony/i" so that they didn't have to refer to me as "It".

These two photos of me were taken during my 20 week scan on 6th February 2008 where my Mum and Dad found out that I'm actually a Tony rather than a Toni. They're both very excited that I'm a little boy and my Mum has never seen my Dad smile as big as he did when he heard the words, "There's the scrotum".

By this stage I even look like a real person.

In this photo you can even see my little feet!
