Well, I decided that I only wanted to wait 6 days after my 'birthday' to make my mark on the world. I was born on Saturday 5th July at 10.36pm, weighing 3.12kgs (6lb 14oz), 51cms long. I didn't like my mummy and daddy's birth plan and decided to make my own - mummy had to be transferred to a bigger hospital who could cope with her high blood pressure that I decided to give her when her waters broke on Friday night. I made it really easy for mummy as I decided to come out after she pushed for only 6 contractions. I surprised everyone by popping my head out between contractions and with the nurse's help, mummy delivered me herself. Daddy was there for the whole thing and got to cut my cord. Mummy tells me that Daddy was absolutely fantastic through the whole thing and she couldn't have done it without him. When I arrived, all of my family were waiting at the hospital to meet me. I feel so loved already and just know that I am going to love this place!

Welcome to the world little man. You really are a beautiful little boy and I'm glad that your mummy had a relatively pain free time bringing you out to meet us all. Daddy was very brave and it was lovely seeing the tears in his eyes when he came out to tell us that your little head had appeared. The wait was well worth it and we all love you so much already. xxxxxxxxx
