What a cool dude!

This picture says it all. With the weather getting better, mummy thought that she better get me some sunglasses. What do you think? Am I destined for a boy band?

I'm too sexy for my pram, too sexy for my pram...

My sunglasses match my spunky-boy shorts for summer

The miracle of technology

Here is footage of what mummy is contending with at the moment trying to feed me. It goes for about 4 minutes and the quality isn't fantastic because it's from her mobile phone, but you get the idea (make sure your sound is on).

And I'll have fun, fun, fun...

Firstly, I have to post some photos that Uncle Eric sent through of the dinner that we had before Aunty Karen left for her trip. I wish I was allowed to stay up to play Wii, it looks like so much fun!
My first Rastall family dinner where I got to sit at the table (though my head is covered by an HP sauce bottle!)

The weather has been getting better and warmer so mummy and I have been out walking pretty much every day. Last week we spent a few days at home which was nice. On Thursday night I got to meet my new friend Georgia Shae Coleman - she was so tiny, I can't ever remember being that little! I love her so much already, I just want her to get bigger so we can play together.

A little ray of 'Georgia' sunshine

On Friday, we picked up Kara and my girlfriend Indiana and we went into the city for the day to the Baby Expo. Mummy bought me a few things, including some teething rings and a pair of knee pads for when I start crawling! Indi was in charge of making sure that I was ok - she even held my hand in the car when I got upset and cried! You can see how much fun we had, including mummy and Kara.

I'm not ready to go home yet... I'm not tired...

On Saturday we had a visiting day. We went to Brooke and Tere's house in the morning where I got lots of cuddles and I got to see their pussy cat (Aunty Brooke even fed me which was so nice). Then we went to the shops where I got a present for the pool - a Pool Pram, you'll see the pictures below. We then caught up with Kim and Glen for coffee and cuddles. Mummy forgot to take pictures on Saturday, but I guess that just means that we will have to see them all again soon and take some. We stopped in to see Nanna and Grandad Rastall where mummy revealed the portacot tent that she bought me for camping. It's so cool, I can't wait til I get to use it - I'll try to get her to put it up during the week and take a photo to show you.

On Sunday morning I got to use my new pool toy. It was so much fun! Uncle Eric dropped in to visit. He was going to Nanna and Grandad Rastall's house for dinner since Aunty Karen is still away for work - I love and miss you Aunty Karen, I'm really looking forward to you coming home! Nanna Jensen babysat me in the evening while mummy and daddy went out for an adults night - I wish I got to go with them, they went out for dinner in the city and to see Stevie Wonder (I don't know what they were thinking leaving me at home, he's one of my favourite artists!). Even though I missed out on a night out, I had a lovely time with Nanna Jensen. She cuddled me so well when I was tired and grizzly that I went to sleep on her. She had to wake me up for my bottle at 6pm and I went straight to sleep for her and didn't make a peep until after 8am this morning. I am really sleeping well, though for the last few mornings when mummy or daddy come to get me in the morning I have kicked off the blankets and I am halfway up my bed! On Saturday I didn't wake up until 9.30am after going to bed at 7pm the night before.

I love my Uncle Eric!

Introducing... The Michelin-Man Mobile!
Today I've been swimming which wore me out. I think that was mummy's plan because she went out for lunch straight after and since I was fast asleep she got to eat her whole meal undisturbed. Mummy and daddy are enjoying this time with me so much because I am interacting with them heaps more. For the last week or so I've been smiling and giggling so much more. I am so vocal now, I'll gurgle at anyone and everyone who'll listen. Here are some pictures of me just being me.
Uncle Eric sent the pictures through of my new swing at Nanna and Grandad Rastall's house - the sun was in my eyes!
I thought I'd wear this hat in case you didn't realise...

Round, round get around, I get around....

What a busy week and a bit I've had since my last post. I have been much more settled and I am so much happier than I have been over the last couple of weeks. Mummy and daddy don't see me from the time they put me down to bed at 6.30-7pm until I wake up in the morning at around 6.30-7am! I then usually have a bottle and go straight back to bed for another couple of hours - this morning I didn't bother to get up until 10.30am. Daylight saving has started and my routine hasn't changed at all which we are all happy about in the Jensen household.
Mummy had to study on the weekend of 4th and 5th October so Daddy took me to Nanna and Grandad Jensen's house on the 4th where I got to play with my cousin Liam. As you can see, Grandad Jensen and Great-Nanna Bush had a lovely time trying to get me to smile.

And this is how you eat a big steak
Ha, ha, you've got a big head
I love your cuddles Great-Nanna Bush!

On Saturday night we went to Nanna and Grandad Rastall's house for dinner with Aunty Karen and Uncle Eric. Aunty Karen is going away for work from 6th October - 31st October so we got together for dinner to see her before she left. I will miss her so much and I hope that the time will go quickly. Nanna and Grandad put up a swing for me at their house and I fell asleep in it before dinner. Mummy is just waiting for Uncle Eric to email her the picture of me in the swing and all of us at the dinner table so she can post it on here for me.
On Sunday 5th, daddy looked after me again and Grandad Jensen came over to our house. The three of us watched the motorbike racing together, I love boy time (so does mummy)! I turned 3 months on the 5th - haven't I grown?
I'm getting blonder the older I get

Monday we stayed at home and I slept for 20hrs (daddy really needs to make sure that I sleep when he looks after me because I was horrible for mummy on Monday). Daddy babysat on Monday night while mummy went out to a Body Shop party with the girls from mum's group. Tuesday morning we went to mum's group but could only stay there for 1hr because I had to go to my healthcare nurse appointment. I am now 7.07kgs, 62.1cms length and 42.5cms head circumference. At least my head has stopped growing and the rest of me seems to be catching up. I don't look so much like an orange on a toothpick any more. Everyone thinks that I'm really big, but according to the health chart I am just average (I'd love to see a baby that is at the top of the chart for my age!). We played at Nanna and Grandad Rastall's house for the rest of the day.
I'm a big little boy now

On Wednesday we went to Fountain Gate to go to the bank and because I fell into a deep sleep while I was in my Baby Bjorn, mummy had a good look around the shops. I was so sleepy that everytime mummy took a step, both of my arms flopped backwards and forwards - lots of people that saw me laughed and commented. We were supposed to go to see a movie but I didn't wake up in time. After the shops, we went to Kerry's house where I got to play with my friend Macy. We had such a nice afternoon with them and I can't wait to see them again. Macy is only 6 weeks old - doesn't she look little next to me? I am 13 1/2 weeks in this picture.
FEE, FI, FO, FUM..... Giant Connor with delicate little Macy (check out the difference in head size!!!)

Thursday was such a big day for me. I went to the big kid swimming pool with the other people from mum's group. Again, I didn't get up until late so I went to the pool in my pyjamas. The swimming instructor who was there thought that we were her next class. When mummy told her that we were all too little to be allowed to start classes (classes begin at 6 months), she assumed that we must all be 2nd babies because we were all so confident in the water. We had such a good time that we have decided that we are going to go every week. When mummy was dressing me after my swim, I fell asleep on the bench! I was so shattered that I didn't even wake up when mummy put me in the car. When we got home, mummy opened up the car windows, left the garage door and front door open and left me in the car to sleep in the garage. I didn't wake up until over 2hrs after we got home! I love the water. In the afternoon we went to Paul and Petrina's house to drop off our cards to get made into a book. It was really nice meeting them and I was so tired when we got home that I went straight to sleep!
Sleeping on my towel at the pool after swimming

Friday was my busiest day of all! Kara, Indi and Raith came to meet us at 10am - you guessed it, mummy had to wake me up at 9.30am! We went into Dandenong where we went to an asian grocer first then to a baby clothes sale. My girlfriend Indi looked after me by holding onto my pram and putting my dummy back in when it fell out. Mummy heard her tell a lady that I was her baby brother and that my name was Baby Connor - how cute!!! After the sale where mummy bought me some swimming stuff, we all went to surprise daddy at work and took him out for lunch. Then we went to a Fresh Food warehouse in Dandenong where Indi helped us by putting the food into the trolley that we were pushing her around in - it only cost mummy a lollypop to have our own little personal shopper! You guessed it, I was asleep again in the Baby Bjorn by this time. We then left the Clarke family and went to Nappyland for nappys, Robbo's for dog food and Aussie Disposals to look at swags for Grandad Rastall. We went spent the rest of the afternoon at Nanna and Grandad Rastall's house and by the time we got home at 6pm, I had my bath and went straight to bed.
On Saturday we went to Aunty Tanya's baby shower for Baby Coleman in Rokeby. I was grizzly and yukky because I didn't to have my 'after night-time sleep' morning sleep and there were so many people there, I didn't want to sleep because I might miss something. We played games and had such a nice day. Aunty Tanya looked so beautiful. On Sunday I watched the Bathurst V8 motor race with daddy.
Now for the exciting news.... - no, not that Ford won AGAIN....
I couldn't believe it when mummy and daddy told me that Aunty Tanya and Uncle Mark had their little baby at 6.30pm last night! Apparently Aunty Tanya went into labour at around 6am Sunday morning and had a beautiful little girl, Georgia (not sure of the spelling yet) and she was 7lb 1oz - my mummy couldn't stop crying last night she was so happy for them, and I think I saw a tear slip out from daddy's eyes, though he usually says it is because he is tired and yawned! I can't wait til I can meet her in the next couple of days once they have settled in back at home. Could it be that my future wife has just been born?....
Here's some random pictures of me this week.Mmmm, plastic - everything goes in my gob now
