What a busy week!

I have had a really busy week this week. I've been to play with Nanna on Monday and Thursday as Mummy had to go to work. Since Nanna is on her own because Grandad is away, Mummy dropped me up to her house at 8am - she had to wake me up because it's before I usually get up. Both days Nanna took me for a walk around the shops in Pakenham before she took me home to meet Mummy. It took ages getting around the shops because Nanna had her 'Proud Nanna' hat on and I think she was very pleased that I gave everyone smiles on cue.

Tuesday and Wednesday Mummy had to work from home so I was very good for her and amused myself when she needed me to. Daddy's been great helping Mummy out too by playing with me in the afternoon's when he gets home, feeding me and getting me ready for bed to give her time to work and cook dinner. On Tuesday night we had dinner at Nanna's as our relatives in England were together to bury Mummy's cousin Melanie's ashes, so we released some balloons that we put notes on for her. It was pretty sad, but we were all glad to do our part here to be with them all in spirit.

Today Mummy and I went to play at Ben's house as his Mummy had to work and her babysitter fell through. It was a very early start (we got there at 6.30am!) I went back to sleep when we got there on Ben's Thomas the Tank Engine foam couch and both Ben and I got up at 7.45am. We had so much fun together. We were exceptionally well behaved for Mummy, though she said between us we created a real 'shit' storm - there were quite a few poos between us this morning! I followed Ben everywhere and we were very good with sharing toys too - we passed them to each other when we noticed the other one was looking at them! Ben even gave me a big sloppy kiss on the mouth when Mummy was getting me dressed. Mummy laughed so much at us when she saw us both standing up at the backdoor trying to get the dog's attention - I was banging the door with my hands and Ben was headbutting it! All in all, I've had so much fun today and can't wait for the next time we can play together for so long (Mummy is updating this for me as I've come home and gone straight to bed I'm that knackered!).
When I grow up I want to sell Avon - Ding Dong!
All rugged up to release Melanie's balloons
How do they stay up there?
I put my note on the yellow one
As you can see, I held onto mine a little longer than the others - they all stayed together for as far as we could see all the way up to heaven for Melanie
A human laughing clown - I could get a job with the carni-folk at the fair
Amusing myself while Mummy works - the puppies love when I give them kisses through the window
Let us out, we'll be good, we promise....
This is fun being with someone else!
Mmmm, fruit toast!
Mmmm, sultanas!
Just like our Daddys - drinking while watching tv!
Let me pass it to you, fine Sir...
No fine Sir, let me get it for you...
Do we get early release for good behaviour?
I can't believe that my mate the baby is at Ben's house too! (I gave the bin a good wash while I was kissing the baby)
You have great toys to play with Ben, thanks letting me play with you!

Party Time!

Wow! What a busy weekend I've had with 2 first birthday parties with the kids from mum's group! On Saturday I went to Ben's party and today it was Zahra's party. I have had so much fun playing with everyone and trying party food, I am absolutely exhausted and Mummy thinks I am going to sleep really well for Nanna tomorrow when she looks after me in the morning while Mummy works. Here's some pics of us all having fun this weekend.
In my new chair Mummy bought for me
It's got really cool stuff to play with while she gets my food ready
Happy birthday Benny!
Mmmm, cake...
I bet it tastes yummy
Thanks for inviting me to your party Ben!
I've had a great time...
...though maybe I should have stopped at two
How we've all grown!
I slept through the cake, so maybe I'll pick a winner...(look closely)
...and eat it instead!
What a pair of dummies
I was so tired after Ben's party that I didn't have the energy to put my pants on
Who needs pants when you have toys (Daddy warned me not to drag myself along the carpet too quickly or I might get carpet burn on my willy)
Happy birthday Zah-Zah Joycey! (Zahra)
A pretty pink cake for our little princess
Mummy told me before I got here that I was allowed to try some new food today
I don't think she meant this though, I hope she's not watching!
I love my Mummy and Daddy
Our mummys really are silly monkeys
Are you still there Ben?
Here's my friends from mum's group: Zahra (with Bec and Harry), Ben (with Sarah and Kelvin), me (with Mummy and Daddy) and Jedd (with Tracey and Jason). I'm very lucky to have such good friends to play with.

Bye bye!

Today I took Grandad and Aunty Karen to the airport. I will miss them terribly and already I can't wait to see them again! I hope they have a great trip. I guess it will be my job to look after Nanna now! I got a brilliant present today from Nanna. Just like my Mummy used to have when she was a little girl, I have my very own aeroporter hat - I will wear it everytime I go to the airport now!
I'm not sure why Aunty Karen's bag is bigger than Grandad's - she's going for half the time he is away!
Blowing raspberries in my new aeroporter hat
Me and Gerry people watching at the airport
I'm already waving
Last cuddles before they leave
See you soon! I love you both!

Small things...

I went to the doctor's yesterday and while my blood test hadn't come back yet, the doctor seems to think that I had a viral infection rather than the measles as I got better so quickly. I guess I'll wait and see what the blood test says! As you can see, I'm pretty much back to normal now. Here's some pictures of me just mucking about with Mummy and Daddy (and myself!) the other day.
Giving kisses to my friend the baby
I hope he doesn't slip the tongue in!
Let me look into your eyes
Did you see my friend?
I like your outfit
I'm going to sit down. Oh, you're coming too?
Can you hear my thoughts?
Will you be my friend too?
What if I look like Daddy?
Please?
What if I try to hypnotise you? Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, not around the eyes...
No photos please
I SAID NO PHOTOS!
Hello? Are there any friends out here?
I wasn't trying to find a way out, honest!
Unless you can help me!
Where's Wally?
Simple Simon
Oops, look what happened to fall into my hands...
...and my mouth
My Daddy is supervising me, see!
Now I really can make my escape, he won't notice
Ah, back to my other friend the hangy thing...
...you can come over here with me
Ummm, I didn't!
I wonder if I can climb this...
Waving at the baby in the window
Yes, I'd say it's about 17.6 degrees judging by my thermometer
I wonder when someone's going to come and visit

Mmmyeeessssss?
